YouTamil – Media People ("YouTamil", "we", "our", or "us") operates a Tamil-language digital media network that publishes news, political analysis, devotional programmes, entertainment, astrology, women's empowerment content, and other Tamil-language media.

This Privacy Policy describes how our internal YouTube Channel Management Application accesses, uses, stores, protects, and deletes information obtained through Google API Services and YouTube API Services.

Our application is intended to help authorized YouTamil personnel manage our own YouTube channels, including video uploads, scheduled publishing, channel administration, and performance analytics.

Our application is intended for managing YouTamil's own channels and is not a public service for connecting or managing unrelated third-party creators' channels.

2. Information We Access

Depending on the Google API permissions enabled and authorized, our application may access the following information:

Google account and authorization information

• Google account or channel identification information needed to authorize access.

• OAuth authorization tokens required to maintain an authorized connection.

YouTube channel information

• Channel names and channel identifiers.

• Uploaded video titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and other available metadata.

• Video visibility settings, including public, private, and unlisted status, where supported.

YouTube analytics information

• Video views and other available performance statistics.

• Audience engagement and watch-time metrics where authorized.

The information actually accessed depends on the API scopes granted to the application and the features implemented.

We do not request or store Google account passwords or YouTube login credentials.

3. How We Use Information

We use authorized information exclusively for YouTamil's internal media operations, including:

• Uploading approved videos to our YouTube channels.

• Preparing and managing video titles, descriptions, and metadata.

• Scheduling videos for publication.

• Managing video visibility and publication status as instructed by authorized personnel.

• Reviewing channel performance and analytics.

We do not use Google API data for unrelated purposes or provide a public channel-management service to other creators through this application.

4. Video Uploading and Scheduled Publishing

Authorized YouTamil personnel may use the application to upload videos and schedule their publication.

Actions affecting YouTube content, including uploading, publishing, editing, changing visibility, or deleting content, must be performed only by authorized personnel and in accordance with the permissions granted.

Before an action is executed, the relevant personnel must be able to identify the channel and understand the action being performed.

The application must respect the selected video visibility settings and must not change those settings without appropriate authorization.

5. Data Storage and Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary for the disclosed operational purposes and applicable legal and platform requirements.

• OAuth tokens are stored securely and used only for the authorization granted.

• YouTube Analytics and Reporting data may be retained as necessary for authorized internal analytics, subject to applicable YouTube API policies and continued authorization.

• Other YouTube API data is refreshed or deleted within the retention periods prescribed by applicable YouTube API policies.

• Information that is no longer required is deleted or anonymized as appropriate.

Where applicable, we periodically verify that authorization remains valid and that retained information continues to comply with YouTube's data-retention requirements.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell Google account information, YouTube API data, or personal information obtained through this application.

Access is restricted to authorized YouTamil personnel who require the information for their assigned responsibilities.

Information may be processed by technical service providers where necessary to operate, host, or secure the application. Such access must be limited to the relevant operational purpose and comply with applicable privacy and Google API requirements.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect the security of our services.

We do not share YouTube API data with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties for their independent use.

7. Google API Services User Data Policy

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements where applicable.

Google API data is used only for the functions disclosed in this Privacy Policy and authorized by the relevant account holder.

We do not sell such data, use it for unrelated advertising, or permit unauthorized access.

8. Revoking Access and Requesting Data Deletion

After authorization is revoked, we will stop using the revoked authorization, revoke the applicable stored authorization token, and delete associated authorized data within the timeframe required by YouTube API policies.

Deleting data maintained by our application does not delete videos, channel information, or other content stored directly on YouTube. Those items must be managed through YouTube or an authorized tool that supports the relevant action.

These measures may include restricted access, secure connections, credential protection, and appropriate storage controls.

Access is limited to personnel authorized to perform YouTamil channel-management functions. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Cookies and Website Services

This policy primarily covers our internal YouTube Channel Management Application.

If our website uses cookies or similar technologies, those technologies may support essential website functions, security, or disclosed analytics. Any applicable third-party website services remain subject to their respective privacy policies.
