1. Introduction

Welcome to YouTamil – Media People ("YouTamil", "we", "our", or "us").

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the internal YouTube Channel Management Application operated by YouTamil – Media People, a Tamil-language digital media network based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

The application is intended to support authorized YouTamil personnel in managing the organization's YouTube channels, uploading videos, scheduling publication, maintaining channel information, and reviewing channel analytics through Google API Services and YouTube API Services.

By accessing or using this application, authorized personnel agree to comply with these Terms, the applicable YouTube and Google policies, and the organization's internal authorization procedures.

2. Scope and Eligibility

This application is intended for internal use by personnel expressly authorized by YouTamil.

Users must:

• Have permission to access the relevant application or channel.

• Use the application only for legitimate YouTamil business and media operations.

• Protect their account credentials and authorization tokens.

• Follow the organization's editorial, publishing, and security procedures.

This application is not offered as a public channel-management service for unrelated YouTube creators.

3. Application Services

Subject to authorization, availability, and applicable API permissions, the application may support:

• Uploading approved videos to YouTamil YouTube channels.

• Preparing and managing video titles, descriptions, tags, and other metadata.

• Scheduling video publication.

• Managing supported video visibility and publication settings.

• Viewing channel statistics and video performance analytics.

• Supporting internal content administration and publishing workflows.

Features may change as operational requirements, API capabilities, and applicable platform policies evolve.

4. Google and YouTube Authorization

The application may use Google OAuth and YouTube API Services to access permitted channel information and perform authorized operations.

Users must authorize access through Google's official authorization process where required.

YouTamil does not request Google account passwords through this application. Users must not disclose passwords, authentication codes, or access tokens to unauthorized persons.

The application will request only the permissions necessary for its intended functionality. Access and actions remain subject to the permissions granted, Google's authorization controls, and YouTube API restrictions.

5. Video Uploading and Publishing

Only authorized personnel may initiate publishing operations.

Before submitting or scheduling content, the responsible personnel must ensure that:

• The correct YouTamil channel is selected.

• The video and its accompanying metadata are approved for publication.

• The selected visibility setting is correct.

• The content complies with applicable laws, copyright requirements, and YouTube policies.

• The publication time and other settings reflect the authorized instructions.

Uploading or scheduling a video does not guarantee that YouTube will publish it at a particular time. Processing delays, platform restrictions, technical errors, account limitations, or other circumstances may affect publication.

Users must not change video visibility, publish content, or delete content without appropriate authorization.

6. Content Ownership and Intellectual Property

YouTamil and its respective licensors retain the rights they hold in YouTamil-produced content, branding, original materials, and other intellectual property.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of YouTube, Google, or third-party intellectual property to YouTamil or to application users.

Users must ensure that content submitted for publication is authorized for use and does not unlawfully infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy rights, or other legal rights.

Content belonging to third parties must be used only with the necessary permissions or other valid legal basis.

YouTube retains its rights in its platform, services, trademarks, and related intellectual property.

7. Acceptable Use

Users must not:

• Access channels or information without authorization.

• Use the application for unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent purposes.

• Circumvent YouTube restrictions, account security, or API quotas.

• Attempt to obtain another person's credentials or authorization tokens.

• Misuse, disclose, or transfer authorized channel information.

• Upload or publish content in violation of applicable laws or YouTube policies.

• Interfere with application security or attempt unauthorized access to its systems.

• Use the application to spam, manipulate metrics, or engage in prohibited activity.

YouTamil may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect its channels, information, personnel, or compliance obligations.

8. YouTube Terms and Policies

Use of YouTube API Services through this application is subject to the applicable YouTube API Services Terms of Service, Developer Policies, and other relevant platform requirements.

By using this application, users agree to comply with the applicable YouTube Terms of Service and relevant platform requirements. These Terms do not replace or override Google's or YouTube's own terms and policies.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

The application's collection, access, use, storage, sharing, and deletion of information are described in our Privacy Policy.

Users must handle authorized channel information responsibly and must not disclose it to unauthorized individuals.

YouTamil will handle Google API data in accordance with its published Privacy Policy and applicable Google API Services User Data Policy requirements.

10. Security and Access Revocation

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their authentication credentials and reporting suspected unauthorized access.

YouTamil may revoke access when a user's responsibilities change, authorization is withdrawn, employment or engagement ends, or a security or compliance concern arises.

Where authorization is revoked, YouTamil will cease using the revoked authorization and handle associated data in accordance with applicable platform requirements and the Privacy Policy.

11. Availability and Third-Party Services

The application depends on services provided by Google and YouTube. We do not control their availability, API functionality, quota limits, eligibility requirements, policy changes, or service interruptions.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the continued availability of every feature.

YouTube may change, restrict, suspend, or discontinue services or API functionality in accordance with its own policies and terms.

12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the application is provided for authorized internal operational use without a guarantee that every feature will always be available or suitable for every purpose.

YouTamil is not responsible for service interruptions, processing delays, API quota restrictions, or platform decisions outside its reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

13. Suspension and Termination

YouTamil may suspend or terminate application access if a user breaches these Terms, exceeds their authorization, creates a security risk, or uses the application in a manner that violates applicable laws or platform policies.

Upon termination, users must stop using the application and return or securely delete organizational information where instructed and legally appropriate.

Termination of application access does not automatically delete content stored on YouTube.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in application functionality, internal procedures, legal requirements, or Google and YouTube policies.

The latest version will be published on our official website, together with the updated revision date.

Continued use of the application after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law. Where explicit acceptance is required, users must provide it before continuing to use the relevant functionality.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable mandatory legal requirements.

Courts of competent jurisdiction in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, subject to applicable law.
